Living so close to the beach, it’s hard to escape freckles in the Australian summer. For some they’re considered blemishes, but to me they’re beautiful. Each portrait looks at celebrating the unique spots that define these individual’s faces, using a high-contrast light source to bring out every last little one. This series brings together a mix of friends, acquaintances and strangers, all united by the common connection of the humble freckle.
